Cobalt Systems
Releases that are reviewable, repeatable, and recoverable
Deployments were a scheduled event that required the one engineer who knew the sequence. Grafiesto replaced the ritual with infrastructure as code, a reviewable pipeline, and a recovery procedure that had actually been tested rather than merely written down.

Inside the project
Context before craft. Decisions before decoration. The story behind the finished surface.
Not a reveal. A reason.
Deployments were a scheduled event that required the one engineer who knew the sequence. Grafiesto replaced the ritual with infrastructure as code, a reviewable pipeline, and a recovery procedure that had actually been tested rather than merely written down.
The starting point
What needed to change
Environments had drifted apart, so a change verified in staging proved nothing about production. The rollback plan existed as a document nobody had executed. Ownership of each service was tribal knowledge, which meant every incident started with a search for the right person rather than the right log.
The work
How we found the shape
Environments were defined in Terraform so drift became a reviewable diff. CI gates were tightened to run the checks that historically caught real defects and to skip the ones that only produced noise. Observability was wired to answer why a system changed rather than only that it failed, and the recovery procedure was executed against a real environment until it was reliable.
What shifted
The difference it made
Releases moved from a scheduled event to a routine one, and incident response starts from a dashboard and an owner rather than a group chat.
The best work starts with the honest version of the problem.

Let's make it mean something.
A useful first conversation needs no polished brief—just the real problem, the people it affects, and the change you want to see.
